A hidden gem with a better experience than its online footprint showed.

Flow Spa is an award-winning wellness and recovery spa in Peterborough, Ontario. It brings float therapy, infrared sauna, cold plunge, contrast therapy, massage therapy, and psychotherapy under one roof.

The market is local, seasonal, and awareness-driven. Peterborough is cottage country, so wellness here has a built-in rhythm: most businesses dip in the summer when people are away at the lake or on vacation.

When the work began, Flow Spa was a hidden gem: a genuinely great experience that almost nobody could find online.

Owning the local map, then reaching beyond it

The gap: No durable, free source of local demand.

What we did: Consistent, multi-year content and on-page work to dominate local spa and recovery keywords in Peterborough, then a patient push on more competitive terms like massage therapy and psychotherapy.

The payoff: Organic search is now the #1 traffic source: 64,270 sessions, 35.91% of all traffic, and a 64.67% engagement rate over 4.5 years.

Top rankings include "float spa peterborough" at position 1.06 and "flow spa peterborough" at position 2.12.

Google Ads

Finding the missing piece for massage leads

The gap: Massage was a high-value service, but organic reach alone was not creating steady inbound.

What we did: Targeted search campaigns focused on ready-to-book intent, high-intent transactional queries, and tight Peterborough-area geo targeting.

The payoff: Paid search visitors arrive with an 82.45% engagement rate, and the targeted massage ads ran a 9.2% conversion rate at CA$10.47 per conversion.

Seeing the whole funnel

The gap: The channels were working, but the full picture and the leaks were invisible.

What we did: Built a Looker Studio dashboard that pulls every channel into one view and surfaces the answers hiding in the funnel.

The payoff: The dashboard showed where organic search, paid search, and paid social each belonged, redirecting budget toward campaigns that reliably convert.

Meta Ads

Turning seasons into a predictable revenue engine

The gap: Peak seasons left money on the table with no way to scale them.

What we did: Seasonal conversion campaigns built around Black Friday, Christmas, Valentine's, and Mother's Day.

The payoff: Peak windows reached up to 7.36x ROAS, with key holiday campaigns averaging 3.5-5.5x blended ROAS across seasons.

Christmas 2023: CA$897 spend returned CA$6,601 in value from 59 purchases.

YouTube & TikTok

Cheap reach where the eyeballs are

The gap: Local awareness is expensive unless you are clever about buying attention.

What we did: Ran reach and impression tests early, and again whenever Flow Spa needed a push for new traffic.

The payoff: YouTube drove 172,000 impressions and 91,000 TrueView views at roughly CA$0.02 per view. TikTok drove thousands of local video views at low CPMs.
